Small acts of self-love: Wheatgrass

It is so easy, so tasty, so good for you. According to the Hippocrates Health Institute, “Two ounces of wheatgrass juice has the nutritional equivalent of five pounds of the best raw organic vegetables.”

Boom. Done. Said. Do it. It is easy.

We here in sunny Southern Portugal can do it outdoors all year round, if you are in cooler, less-sunny climates, try indoors next to a sunny window or in a small hot-house.

I hope you like the silent film… let me know if you have luck with your crop!

Love, love, infinity.

  1. Okay, I’m sold!! My next weekend project has been solidified. I already have the juicer, the organic soil and an apple tree ready to harvest. I just need some seeds!! When they’re frozen in the ice cube trays, do you just pop a cube in a shot glass and let it melt? Whats the method for that?

  2. Wow! A comment! I am so thrilled. Thanks James for following! Yes. Pop it in the shot glass and let it melt.. or in the hot months just eat it like a popsicle. You will be amazed at the sweetness! Let me know how it gets on!
